It’s the beginning of a new financial year which means closing the ledger on 2014/15 and looking ahead to the new year and the changes that brings. There are a number of changes looming on issues like pensions, paid parental leave and tax deductions. Some things haven’t been touched like Superannuation and Capital Gains Tax – but for how long? And what will the ATO be focusing on this year when it comes to audits?
