Every year, Macquarie University hosts an annual 3 Minute Thesis competition. The average PhD thesis takes an average of nine hours to read out loud — these doctoral candidates are given only three minutes. In this edition, Chrissy from Thursday Drive speaks to Xiuping Liao about the reallocation of our rubbish for the greater good.
