Parents are so important to the raising and identity of children, yet many kids struggle with absent fathers.  “The Fathering Project” looks to follow, observe and help ‘at-risk’ families in Armadale one of Western Australia’s most violent suburbs. It aims to provide mentor-ship for single dads to connect along with counselling support on one of life’s often unacknowledged challenges. The documentary’s director, Josh Lee joined Mick to discuss the programme before it’s premiere on ABC’s Compass this Sunday night.
