There possibly isn’t a song more quintessentially ’80s than perhaps Video Killed the Radio Star performed by the Buggles, but did you know it actually came out in 1979, two years before the launch of MTV in 1981?

This week on Under the Covers, Max and Thomas explored the split between Trevor Horn and Bruce Woolley that led to an obscure version of the new-wave track releasing a few months before the iconic rendition.
