The Shared Table Project
Living in politically and socially divided times, it can seem like society as a whole is becoming a more unfriendly place. But grass roots initiatives like The Shared Table Project are bucking the trend. The project aims to break down barriers and to foster a community between women of all backgrounds. At the next event they’ll be swapping food and stories at the Parramatta Synagogue. The Tuesday Daily was joined by Lynda Ben-Menashe, manager of Policy and Community Relations at the NSW Jewish Board of Deputies, to tell us all about it.
