Should We Regulate Influencer Marketing?

Advertising through social media influencers is highly effective as it persuades customers through a a peer to peer relationship. Unlike traditional advertisements social media influencers are not required to meet the same degree of regulation raising questions about the authenticity and trustworthiness of their posts.

Today Bryce spoke with Andrew Hughes from ANU about instances where influencers are not complying with the law and regulations that could be implemented to protect users from being deceived or mislead.
