The Kilogram is one of seven international System of Units (SI), that we use to measure virtually anything.

Yesterday representatives from 60 nations, including Australia, met up in france to vote on the fate of these units, especially the Kilogram, who’s definition hasn’t changed since 1889.

It has been called a historic step and bigger than similar changes in the past, what makes it so, and what does this mean for us?
