A Remarkable Time for Disability-Tech Startups
One in five people in Australia have a disability. That is a significant number of people with specific needs. Needs that call for creative thinking and, increasingly, new technologies to break existing barriers and achieve greater inclusivity. Remarkable is a division of Cerebral Palsy Alliance. It supports startups creating technology to positively impact life for people with disability.
The Daily spoke with Remarkable’s Founder, Pete Horsley, about digital disruption, their 16-week Accelerator Program and some of the groundbreaking startups that will be showcased at Demo Day on 5 August 2020.
