Adam from The War On Drugs joins us for Breakfast

The War On Drugs is an award-winning band that has steadily emerged as one of this century’s great rock and roll synthesists, removing the gaps between the underground and the mainstream, between the obtuse and the anthemic, making records that wrestle a fractured past into a unified and engrossing present.

That’s what Danny from 2SER Breakfast said to The War On Drugs frontman Adam Granduciel to welcome him to the show, a sentiment that Adam appreciated, and just a small example of how much Australia loves him and the band. They’ll be playing at the Sydney Opera House in December with special guests Spoon – the first show is sold out, but tickets are available now for the second show.
