For Art’s Sake: let’s make art inclusive!
For Art’s Sake is an annual initiative run by disability support organisation Participate Australia, to help create a more integrated arts platform for people of all abilities. Previously the event has involved just an exhibition, however in 2017 there are also 3 art prizes up for grabs!
Events like these are paving the way for a more inclusive arts world, and this dedication to progress is greatly captured by this year’s For Art’s Sake theme – ‘Participate’. Tess Connery spoke with Peter Schneider, the organisation’s Executive Manager of Strategy and Communications, about how you can get involved before entries close on May 31st.
