Agriculture plays a vital role to Australia’s social, economic and environmental sustainability. The industry brings in $155 billion annually with approximately 134,000 farming businesses nationwide. With the introduction to robotic technologies in farming, Australia is taking the next step towards the future with their cost-saving innovations, however how will this affect Australia’s agricultural industry? The Daily’s Rod Chambers spoke with Peter Corke, Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Queensland University of Technology discussed the next step in farming.
