Australia’s gender pay gap widens

Data recently released from the ABS over the past 6 months indicates the gender pay gap has increased
A 0.8% increase in the pay disparity between men and women in Australia leaves the current gender pay gap at pay gap to 14.2 % in favour of men.
In response, The Workplace Gender Equality Agency hosted ‘Equal Pay Day, calling on all Australians to ask #WhatsYourPayGap? in their workplaces and as a crucial step towards bridging this divide.
