Whenever a big name international artist hits Aussie shores it seems we hear another crop of sad stories about ticketing scams, from people paying crazy amounts of cash for seats right through to people being turned away at the door after buying fake tickets.

So how do we steer clear of rip offs online when trying to buy tickets to see our favourite acts?

Deputy Chair from the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, Delia Rickard, says there is a real sense of outrage in the community and on a government level about what’s been happening on the secondary ticket market, but is confident that improvements aren’t far away.
