Seeking an abortion is a U.N. defined human right. In NSW, however, a woman’s right to access abortions is restricted by laws that were written into the NSW criminal code in 1900 – before women could vote or participate in the Olympics.
The Daily‘s Tess Connery was joined by Tegan Nicholls, Millie Malcolm, and Rosie Paijmans of My Body My Right, an organisation dedicated to lobbying the government to decriminalise abortions in NSW and protecting women from harassment and intimidation when entering clinics.
