If you have your child’s friends over, you’re often going to offer them something to eat well in Sweden it’s a completely different story. Children in Sweden who are a guest in someone’s house will have to wait until they have finished their meal. We spoke to Dr Timothy Heffernan – Postdoctoral fellow, UNSW Sydney to discuss food cultures and specifically why Sweden is against feeding strangers.
