Can festivals be sustainable?
On paper, festivals can seem like a sustainability disaster.
There are hundreds, sometimes thousands of people around, they all want food and drink, they all need to use the bathroom at some point, and they all need to get there and home either by car or public transport.
However, more festival organisers are getting creative and coming up with ways to make their events more eco-friendly, from investing in green power to bike valet services.
