You might’ve been to the Royal Easter Show, but have you ever been to an agricultural show in a country town? They’re a real staple of Aussie culture, with horse and cattle events, wood chopping, races, rodeos, live music, and heaps of fun stuff for the whole family. The Kangaroo Valley Show on the NSW South Coast is celebrating its 138th anniversary this weekend.

Producer Ollie had a chat with Julie Ward, one of the event organisers, about what makes the Valley show so special, and how it balances tradition with new technologies in the 21st century.
