Urban climatologist Dr Negin Nazarian spoke to James Murray on The Daily. She explains why cities are hotter than other environments and what can be done to make soaring temperatures more liveable.
Dr Nazarian is a Scientia Senior Lecturer at UNSW Built Environment, and Fellow at the City Futures Research Centre.
