Creating an Accessible Bondi Beach
Heading to the beach today? It is an iconic Aussie pass-time, but not always the most accessible place for everyone. Bondi Beach has recently had a makeover to make the famous beach more accessible, inclusive and equitable. Waverley Council in collaboration with Bondi Surf Bathers Life Saving Club and Surf Life Saving NSW are celebrating the new renovations to the beach on Saturday 1 February.
Jess spoke with Mayor of Waverley Council Paula Masselos to find out about Bondi Beach’s makeover.
