Australia has some of the toughest defamation laws in the world. However they were written in a time before social media and before #metoo. As a result it seems like it could be harder for people to come forward about their experiences.

Ollie Henderson came in to talk to Tess about a panel that will be discussing this, with Jenna Price, Nareen Young and Sophie Dawson which will be moderated by Verity Firth. The panel will be held on the on Wednesday the 3rd October and is called Truth Telling or Defamation #metoo in the Australian context.
