Why don’t Australians watch Australian film?
Another year and another group of Australian Films like the recent ‘Swinging Safari’ come and go with little acknowledgement. Why aren’t Australians supporting local cinema? Should we even be comparing ourselves to the international market? To discuss this more we had Karen Pearlman, Lecture in screen production at Macquarie University.
