Today on the program, we dedicate an entire episode to domestic violence. It is an issue that has recently made its mark in the spotlight, and with good reason, with 1 in 5 Aussie women experiencing domestic violence at some point in their lives.

We begin by being part of a seminar held by the Centre for Midwifery, Child and Family Health at UTS. The seminar heard from a domestic violence survivor and health professionals across the community about the best ways to help women.

Next, we take a look at what help is out there for women looking for more information about healthy relationships. There are a plethora of apps and websites out there for women, and we examine one such website.

Finally, while 1 in 5 women experience domestic violence in Australia, that number is higher in rural and regional Australia. We find out why there is such a difference.
