On the show this week: to the apparent surprise of Treasurer Scott Morrison, the Federal budget has been brought forward to the 3rd of May, making way for a possible double dissolution election on the first week of July.This means ‘game on’ for election campaigns, with Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull saying his government will provide continuity, but with change.

Innovation is also on the agenda, with the Prime Minister announcing one billion dollars for a new clean energy innovation fund. But what else can we expect to see in the budget to support innovation? We’ll bring you our special report.

And we’ll examine Malcolm Turnbull’s claim that the building and construction industry was responsible for increased productivity and decreased industrial disputation in the construction industry.
