You’ve probably heard the expression ‘the eye is the window to the soul’, but what about ‘the eye is a window to what’s happening in your brain’?
A growing body of research is looking to the eye as an indicator of neurological disease expressed through something called bio-markers.
These markers could represent the presence of a disease in the body, and for Motjaba Golzan from the University of Technology Sydney and his research, they could potentially indicate the onset of Alzheimers.
