For Film’s Sake: a celebration of women in film
Showcasing just some of the fantastic films made by women and other minorities, For Film’s Sake offers great cinema in unique environments from April 26 to 30. The Director of FFS, Sophie Mathisen, discusses the 6 hour Fright Night horror marathon, vampire films, safe spaces for women and innovating festival cultures. You can catch female-lead flicks from around the world in as diverse settings as the Chinese Garden of Friendship, small bars around Sydney and a parking lot.
