Do you pack your meals or your kids’ school lunches with ice bricks to keep them cold? If you don’t, should you be? Nic chatted to Dr. Vincent Ho, Senior Lecturer at Western Sydney University’s School of Medicine about the harmful bacteria that can grow on our food when it’s left out in the heat.

With at least four million Australians getting food poisoning each year, Vincent told us why we should be thinking about hygiene even before we’re preparing the food, starting with washing our hands for up 20 seconds.
