Pet fostering provides care for vulnerable animals too young or sick to be able to thrive in an animal shelter – and is also a way for those who can’t commit to having a pet in the long term to enjoy the company of some furry friends. PAWS is an organisation that offers foster care training for short and long term carers until the pets find what some call their “forever homes”. 2SER spoke with PAWS founder Tania Volell to find out more.
