Homeschooling On The Rise In Australia
Home Schooling is on the rise across every Australian State and Territory. In 2013 Queensland, New South Wales, and Victoria collectively had less than 8,000 children being educated from home. By 2017 that number had spiked to over 13,000. What is causing this expansion of homeschooling?
Victor spoke to Rebecca English, a lecturer in education at the QLD University of Technology to get a better understanding of why more Parents are making the decision to educate their children from home.
