Hotels for bees, birds and butterflies

Rarely does a day go by that there isn’t a story in the media about the decline in insect and pollinator numbers. It’s not news to farmers and gardeners, who’ve been actively campaigning for years, creating awareness of the fact that one bite of food in three is due to the action of pollinators.

We were joined by Judith Friedlander, who is close to completing her PhD at the Institute for Sustainable Futures at UTS and is also the founder and director of not-for-profit organisation FoodFaith which has an interesting new initiative to stem the decline of bees.
