International Day of Women and Girls in Science: still more to be done for women in STEM
Yesterday was International Day of Women and Girls in Science, a day dedicated to celebrating the contribution and efforts of women in STEM.
More women have entered the sector in recent years, as more work opportunities become available.
Although the Department of Industry reports 68% of STEM-qualified occupations are held by women, there are still challenges remaining to be addressed
