Its A Sin: Songs of Love and Shame with Andrew Griffiths

Growing up in Adelaide in the late 80’s and questioning your sexuality was a trying time for a young Andrew Griffiths. Thankfully the enigmatic pop duo Pet Shop Boys entered the scene. While it would take another decade for lead singer of the Pet Shop Boys Neil Tennant to come out, the match had been struck for Andrew. So much did the fire burn that some years later a wiser Andrew will be taking to the stage with the accompaniment of Julian Ferraretto (violin) and Dylan Paul (bass) to reimagine the duo’s songs to tell the story about love, shame and self-discovery. He spoke to 2Ser Breakfast’s Te Rina Taite for his upcoming Sydney Festival performance.
