It’s Christmas everyday at Salma’s Canteen

Nothing beats a Christmas lunch. Smoky ham, colourful salads, moreish dips and extravagant desserts are all on offer on what is, for many, the funnest day of the year. It begs the question, then: why can’t we engage in a feast like this everyday?

For Michael Rantissi and Kristy Frawley, owners of Waterloo’s Mediterranean cafe wonderland Kepos Street Kitchen, and Andy Bowdy and Maddison Howes, founder’s of the beloved recently closed Enmore bakery, Saga, this was a question in need of answering.

Enter Salma’s Canteen, Sydney’s newest one-stop shop for all things delicious. With a modern take on the classic deli, Salma’s has you covered for snacks, entrees, mains, and desserts.

Having opened in Rosebery in July, Wednesday Drive producer Josh Ray spoke to part owner Frawley about what you should expect from a visit to Salma’s, as well as what’s to come in the future.
