Jay Watson is best known for his work with Tame Impala and the band Pond, but going solo he operates under the name GUM. Jay is on tour playing tonight in Sydney at the Oxford Art Factory, then heading overseas as part of his Underdog tour, with the album being released just last week.

GUM chatted with Nic about why he likes the solo work and then joy of getting “under the hood” when it comes to music production.
