First appearing on the radar in Melbourne with “emotion punk” band Two Steps on the Water in 2014, June Jones has set out on her own with a new solo project. Resonant, emotionally bracing, her debut album Diana continues to spin in the emotion punk genre where, as the name suggests, a tough exterior hides a tender core. Diana is launching here in Sydney this week on Thursday, and June Jones spoke to Breakfast host Tess Connery about her work.
