Kilogram 2.0 – scientists redefining measurement
Stepping on the scale, we don’t give much thought to the measurement of a kilogram. But scientists worldwide are ecstatic over a landmark decision to redefine the value of a kilogram. The new formula will make the measurement more accurate, especially when weighing very small or large masses.
To explain the science behind this new landmark change, Jess spoke with Tom Gordon, Senior Science Commentator from the University of Sydney’s School of Physics.
