While the use of cannabinoid oil is legal for animals, the process is quite difficult and inaccessible for vets.
Evidence on the products effectiveness is still largely anecdotal, and Australian Veterinary Association is yet to recommend its use for dogs. However the alternative treatment is still pets increasingly gaining traction, 2SER talked to Healing Vet Dr Edward Bassingthwaite regarding this.
