Locals Calling for Dementia Friendly Communities

The Hornsby Shire Council is collaborating with DCaf Connections in an effort to create a more dementia-friendly community for its locals. DCaf Connections’ aim is to provide cafes as meeting spots for people living with dementia and their family members to come together for the sake of community and socialization but also to discuss and explore ways to make the world around them more accessible to those living with dementia.

Is it creating services and changing infrastructure to provide better assistance people with dementia?
