Lo-Fi Outta Lockdown

The last time Tuesday Drive’s veteran executive producer Jono caught up with UNSW lo-fi society (colloquially “lofisoc“) in 2020, they had just released their debut mixtape, conceptualised in the peak of the initial lockdown. Since then, the grassroots community has made some major strides, incorporating a music director role to spearhead their annual mixtape project. Jono spoke with the two inaugural directors, Peter and Jose on their experiences helming the society’s third and latest release, Nostalgia, as well as the growth of the community built through the lockdown years and coming out of it.

lofisoc is the first (and only) student club of its kind in Australia. You can stream their latest mixtape by clicking Nostalgia above, and join their Discord server here.
