As apetizing as that may or may not sound, it may be a better option for the Australian quoll who are currently a species under threat due to the fact they feast on cane toads.
Dr Jonathan Webb from the Faculty of Life Sciences at UTS is at the helm of the research steering quolls off the real thing, and onto a sausage substitute that could help save the species from dying out.
