“No Decent Rain Until November”: NSW Rural Fire Services Stay Busy
On Wednesday the 15th of August 2018, the NSW Fire Department declared its earliest state wide fire ban on record. With fire crews battling up to 83 fires across NSW, branching from the North-East to the Victorian border. Authorities are concerned about the fire season ahead of us, due to the lack of rainfall in recent months.
