NSW enacts Voluntary Assisted Dying
New South Wales on Tuesday became the final state to ratify voluntary assisted dying, or VAD into law.
This makes it possible for terminally ill people to legally request to end their life on their own terms.
The bill was passed last May in Parliament, and includes the establishing of a committee to oversee implementation and provide expert guidance.
