NSW Government Gives $500,000 To World’s Richest Greyhound Race
The NSW Government has fallen under scrutiny for giving $500,000 to the richest greyhound race in the world in Sydney later this year, only two years after trying to ban the sport. This decision has been questioned by many, including those that have been rallying against the mistreatment of greyhounds due to the races.
The Daily’s Nathaniel Keesing was joined by Lisa White, President and Founder of Friends of the Hound, to unpack the government’s decision further and discuss how this could effect the welfare of greyhounds.
