With the current lack of certainty around what’s available at the supermarket – many people are looking for different ways to access fresh food. Establishing a veggie garden, a veg box delivery system or a trip to the local grocer are proving novel alternatives for many people. But is this exposure to alternatives teaching us something? Former host of River Cottage Australia Paul West recently released a new book called The Edible Garden, which teaches people about how to grow and cook nutritious food at home. He caught up with Sean Britten on the Thursday Daily to discuss home-growing and what this crisis might teach us about food security.
