Polyamory and Valentine’s Day
The typical vision of valentine’s day celebration in the media is usually that of a straight, monogamous couple. However, there are those who find a relationship between multiple partners much more rewarding. Known as polyamory, it’s a relationship practice that extends the love, intimacy and closeness of a monogamous relationship to multiple consenting people who reject cultural norms of exclusivity. We were joined by Dr Niko Antalffy, Lecturer in Social Science at Macquarie University, and prominent member of the Australian Polyamory movement.
