Psychedelic drugs: Are we falling behind on their medical use?
Medical research is one of the most important areas for funding in Australia, if not the world. What we discover can help improve overall health standards which can lead to plenty of benefits for the public.
One area where Australia can improve in is with psychedelic drugs, which can help treat psychiatric disorders, according to Dr. Stephen Bright from Curtin University. This week, he will join a number of panellists to discuss this in Melbourne, with a dinner and seminar.
Dr Bright joined Sam for further discussion.
On April 8th, The Melbourne Brian Centre, at the University of Melbourne will host the seminar series and dinner discussing the use of psychedelic substances in medical research.
