Research presents promising new treatment plan for nicotine addiction
The results of a recent clinical trial has found a potential new treatment option for nicotine addiction, and it’s available at pharmacies.
The study, led by Monash University… found smokers treated with both varenicline (Champix) and nicotine lozenges had an 84% higher chance of quitting than those taking varenicline alone. Smokers are advised to consult their GP before starting any treatment
