For fifty years garment designer John Kaldor has been a major patron of modern art, supporting art installations and bringing to Australia some of the biggest international conceptual artists. To celebrate this a new documentary “It Started with a Stale Sandwich,” will premier at the Sydney Film Festival giving us a glimpse of many art projects the Hungary-born entrepreneur has been involved in over a span of five decades. Stephen Hill talked the documentary’s director Samantha Lang about this film.
