Saving Australian Animals

Australia has one of the highest rate of native mammals species extinction rate in the world. Over 1700, species are currently on the ‘conservation list’, with the number growing each year. However, the Environmental Department responsible, are uncertain if their policy is even working. What will it take to implement a strong plan to better protect our wildlife? Brad Jessup, Environmental specialist at the University of Melbourne and Member of the Centre for Resources, Energy and Environmental Law spoke to The Daily.
