Sexual Misconduct in the Legal Profession
According to a global survey conducted in 135 countries by the International Bar Association, bullying and sexual harassment are increasingly prevalent in the legal profession. Alarmingly, Australia has among the highest reported rates of sexual harassment in the world. The question remains, how has sexual misconduct gone unnoticed in the legal profession for so long, and just how effective are regulatory measures in preventing sexual abuses in the workplace?
