What She Said Comedy
What She Said is a weekly all women comedy night packed with stand up, storytelling, sketch and musical performances from Sydney’s best comics. To celebrate the first show, entry is free! Garifuna Collective Featuring Umalali
Since its inception the Garifuna Collective has consistently provided a uniquely rewarding experience – Garifuna music and dance performed by composers and musicians who push the boundaries of their dynamic, centuries old musical traditions and make it accessible to an enthusiastic worldwide audiences. And now the Garifuna Collective featuring the Umalali women singer continues to break new ground with performances showcasing dance and music of the Garifuna people of Central America. This is a collective representing the cream of today’s Garifuna musicians and dancers, demonstrating some of the most original and refreshing roots music to ever come out of the Central America and Caribbean region. Catch them play at Casuala Powerhouse Arts Centre for just $30.

30/70 ‘Elevate National Tour’ at The Chippo Hotel
Melbourne locals 30/70 released their full length record ‘Elevate’ late last year, to great acclaim. It proved to be the UK label’s biggest release of 2017 and received praise from international tastemakers such of Gilles Peterson, Neil Bopperson (First Word Records), Mr Scruff and Rich Medina. The collective are now hitting the major cities around Australia to share their latest offering, on the ‘Elevate’ National Tour. This Friday they play the Chippo Hotel for just $17.85 + a booking fee.
